These two posts are similar as UNICEF uses famous people in their video to promote their missions. Using famous people to promote a campaign helps reach wider audience as most of the time famous person is tagged or he\she shares post in its own social media account. UNICEF East Asia and Pacific explains that working with celebrities helps them to get more support: "they can use their talents and fame to fundraise and advocate for children and support UNICEF’s mission to ensure every child’s right to health, education, equality and protection"(UNICEF, no date:online). UNICEF follows trends as in the post on the left two young girls that became famous on TikTok shares their experience about bullying. TikTok is one of the most popular social media platforms among teenagers nowadays, therefore UNICEF collaborates with famous girls and as their audience is mostly teenagers, UNICEF can target a specific audience. Comments in that post were supporting these girls and UNICEF by commenting "I support this mission of UNICEF". UNICEF does not engage in discussions in comment section, in some of the posts they just put additional link that provides more information. The post with Bill Gates is controversial, as there are two sides: people who support vaccination and people who do not, however it does not stop UNICEF to post about this as one of their goals is to vaccinate as many children as they can (UNICEF, no date), so they stand by their values and goals and are not afraid to post something that can cause negative comments and reactions and that shows UNICEF's reliability.
